Ben Day- Achieving the Dreams!

Ben Day wins the vacant International Bronze Masters Light-Welterweight Title!

The undefeated 36 year old professional boxer/trainer/gym owner is starting to turn a few heads.

On Saturday night (March 7th 2015) Ben defeated Ilja Sovdra and finally got his hands on that all important first title!

He started his boxing career back in 2011 with wins over the well known Robin Deakin and Kristian Laight.

Since then he has remained unbeaten with just a draw to blemish an almost perfect record.

I went to visit Ben in December at his Ringtone Boxing Gym in Euston London. He was very welcoming and took the time to discuss his own ideas about the boxing business as well as talking about his dreams within boxing. He hinted to me that this fight was coming up and said that for him this is like a world title! Coming from nothing to being a champion.

Having moved to London to rebuild his life, Ben openly is a dreamer with catchphrases like “Follow your dreams” and “Team Work Makes Dreams Work”

Ben stated to me the the real dream is to one day win a BBBoC British title and he sees no reason why he can’t go ahead and do it!

“Dreams come true! With or without this title I’m
a champion!
Headlining a show with Ricky Hatton’s boys on my undercard. Huge backdrop picture of my face , and a beautiful body shot in the first round to stop my opponent!
So so proud of myself all the years of suffering and pain I’m finally there, no one can take this away from me, I’ve completely turned my life around through working hard on myself, not the outside working on the inside –
Thank u for all the support.”

As I always say:
“Follow Your Dreams”
